Malware
is usually short for malicious software and any software that causes the
computer to malfunction, collecting sensitive information about you,
unauthorized access to your data and system files, displays unwanted
advertisements and the like. It is usually "invisible," a parasite in
your computer and hooked up to another application or the operating system
itself. The term "malware" is made Israel like back in 1990 and this
year. What you need to know is that the malware umbrella term under which
includes viruses, worms, Trojans, ransomware, spyware, adware, scareware,
Netware and the like.
In the
market, there are a bunch of useful anti-malware programs that are successfully
fighting with malicious code and completely free of charge and supplied with
good enough for everyday use. So let's look at what's available and what would
you recommend me to use.
Microsoft Security Essentials
Microsoft
Security Essentials (MSE) is a great software that comes with Windows and is
one of the best software of its kind. There are two streams of users - those
who argue that the MSE is good enough, and you do not need a third-party
anti-malware protection and those who claim that MSE successfully defends
computer for months. It's hard to say who is to the right, but our experience
with MSE infection is extremely active. First, Microsoft updated regularly, and
on most tests proved satisfactory. On the other hand, the MSE can be very slow
in scanning your computer and knows to take a lot of computing resources. On
our computer, MSE works about 70-75 minutes, which is twice the average.
Frankly, we were not too constant speed as long as the MSE can find anything
that could infect us.
The
problem is the only ransomware that detects dangerous enough and often referred
to pass through their "filters." Also, MSE works well when you
install it on a "clean computer." Then you defend well, but if you
manage to install on the infected computer, it is possible that you will not
succeed entirely clean. But no matter what faults, we are superb, and we only
use this application on our Windows machines. For the installation of setup: Antimalware Service
Executable a Pre-Installed program.
Malwarebytes anti-malware
If you
are a fan, said MSE, then would you be interested in this software. Most people
just gravitate Malware bytes solely because of his opportunities, and not their
faces. In fact, this was true before, now its version 2.0, which is graphically
made a big step forward and now it looks pretty good.
When
you open the application, you will see a big button "Scan now" which
is the main "feature" applications and offers a complete overview and
computer protection with the excellent report at the end of the scan.
Malwarebytes
comes in two versions - free and premium. The free version is good enough for
everyday use, but premium yields of features that we would like to see in the
free version. One of these is a characteristic real-time scanning and prevent
malware that comes to the computer. The free version will find malware on your
computer and remove it, while the premium version to keep him from ever
infecting your computer. Also, the premium version and quickly scans the
computer, or using a better algorithm, but it does not matter. A lot of
computer scan takes about 35-40 minutes.
Zemana antimalware
Zemana
antimalware software is relatively new in the market and has already jumped to
the top. Especially when we're talking about ransomware protection, but about
that later in the text. Zemana we were delighted with what is a very
"lightweight" application that does not even know that you have on
your computer, and terribly useful. It is a cloud-based application that always
has the last updated database of malware and provides virtually real-time
protection. As soon as the malware appears on the computer and is detected by a
user, it will most likely be within a couple of hours to find in their base
with adequate protection.
We
mentioned ransomware. For those who do not know, it is a malware that you block
access to your data, practically all over your system until you pay a certain
sum of money to a particular account, and then you will (maybe) your computer
will be unlocked. An excellent example of the same is CryptoLocker who for
years has been located on computers around the world. Zeman has good protection
against it and practically all such attempts to "refuse" from the
start. In the paid version you will get more and better security, cleaning browsers,
add-on and history.
Emsisoft anti malware
And in the end, we are
left with Emsisoftov antimalware which is specific because it uses two engine
in the background. One is to remove unnecessary programs on your computer use
too many resources, and the other is to detect threats that you might endanger.
Because it uses two engine, does not mean that use twice as much computing
resources. Indeed, the benefits are less than the competition.
